Throwback Thurday

When I was younger I used to play this game all the time with my friends and found it really fun. Now that I am older I still find it fun but it is not quite as fun as it use to be. This game is called tetherball, were two people hit a ball that is connected to a pole by a string. If the string was fully wrapped around the pole the person who made it wrapped won. There is also some rules to tetherball that include, not to grab the string, but there is many strategies like hitting the ball really hard and pretty high so the other person couldn’t hit it back. Classmate Guest Blog

On today blog, I have decided to invite Bronson Evans to talk on my blog. Bronson will be talking about how Corner Canyon is an amazing High-school. Now I will turn this over to Bronson.

Bronson: Hi everyone this is Bronson Evans and I am glad to be on Roman’s Blog today. If you didn’t know yet, I am writing about how Corner Canyon is an amazing high-school for athletics and academics. First of all Corner Canyon is ranked 14th in the nation for high-school football. There basketball team is not the best in the state but the are certainly not bad but more average. There tennis team is pretty average to. Now for academics, Corner Canyon is one of the best high-schools in Utah for academics.

Free write about Bengals

The Bengals are a NFL football team that haven’t been good for a very long time or known as a below average team. The main reason for the the Bengals being a below average team is that they have a bad offensive line and a sorry defense. But in the most recent draft the Bengals have drafted some really good offensive lineman and some even pretty good defensive players. This has been really good for them this season because now they are 2-1 only losing to the Chicago Bears and beating the Minnesota Vikings and their rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers. Overall I have high hopes for the Bengals this season.

Middle School Thoughts

Middle school isn’t that bad but it surely isn’t great. Middle school is where 6th, 7th and 8th graders go to get educated in the same school together. There is some pros about middle school but there is also a lot of cons. Some pros about middle school include being able to talk with your friends, learn new stuff that is useful, and learn how to social with people you have never met. The cons include having to wake up at 7am, having to sit in a seat for most of the day, and lastly learning some stuff that you will never use in your life.

How to be a good person

Being a good person pretty easy. I will tell you some things that can make you a good person. Make sure you never litter because it is bad for the environment. Never make rude comments to people, instead tell them complements. Always help someone out if they need it. If someone is feeling down tell them something nice. If you have new neighbors greet yourself. You could also give them some cookies or something. If you see litter pick it up. Be kind in the lunchroom. Give food to the homeless. Make new friends. If someone is new help them around the school. Don’t be a bully. Help people that are being bullied. Be nice to your family because your around them the most. Always give a tip to a waiter. Don’t make fun of someone for what they are wearing. Don’t make fun of someone on how they look because they can’t fix that. Help your teammates out by helping them up. Don’t hit someone for no reason. Don’t destroy stuff in any public place because it could cost a lot of money. It is not cool to be a bad person, but it is cool to be a good person.

Hawaii travel post

When I went to Hawaii it was the best place ever. The places there to eat are amazing and never disappoint. The beaches are also very amazing. You can go boogie boarding, surfing and can just sit in the sand. The water there is amazing, it is perfectly blue. The weather there is better than any place. It’s never to hot and never to cold. If it does get to hot your in luck because it will rain sometime through out the day. It is also very humid there so it just feels amazing on your skin. There is also a lot of chickens running around so you could try to catch one. The people there are amazing to. They are very funny and like to joke around. The animals there are super friendly and don’t attack unless you bug them. That is why Hawaii is the best place in the world to me.

Free write about school

School is pretty boring and will always be boring. Nothing will ever make me enjoy going to school besides friends and P.E class. Other than those things nothing in school is worth it. Math class is super boring and I will never use some of the stuff they teach. Same with Utah Studies, I know I will never use anything Utah Studies has taught me. Science is pretty useful because you could use some of what they teach in real life but most of the stuff they teach you wont use. ELA is probably the most useful class out of all of them because you will type and use proper grammar in real life.
